There is a lot more to learning a language than just learning the grammar and pronunciation, and then filling up with idioms, phrases, and slang terms.  You will also need to know how to use all of those tools.  That is were English Usage comes in.

Sometimes, in different situations, you will find that, though what you want to say, may be grammatically correct, there is often a different way that certain things are said.  This is where the world of grammar and lexis tend to overlap and there is a definite mix of both worlds.
